Motorola Signature Reviews : Friends, honestly speaking, this is an exciting phone. When this phone was first announced in Europe, the price was around ₹1 Lakh, and I thought, “Oh my God, no way.” But when the Indian pricing was revealed, my reaction changed to “Oh my God, yes!”
This is the Motorola Signature Series. It sits right above the Edge series. Actually, I won’t call it “near flagship” this is a proper Flagship device because every single feature is top-level. The best part? The effective price in India is coming under ₹60,000 (approx ₹54,999 with offers). Let’s dive deep into why this might be the best smartphone in this price range.

Motorola Signature Unboxing
The experience starts with a huge black box. When you buy the Signature edition, you are not just getting a phone; you get a full “Signature Experience.”
Inside the box, Motorola has been very generous.
- The Phone: The star of the show.
- Moto Watch: Yes, the phone launches with a smartwatch included in the box! It has extra straps too.
- Accessories: A car mount, a 90W USB Type-C adapter, and a Type-C to Type-C cable.
- The Scent: When you open the box, a beautiful fragrance hits you. It is a very premium touch.
- Sim Tool & Docs: Standard documentation.
Note: There is no protective case in the box, but the sheer amount of accessories makes up for it.
Motorola Signature Design
The moment you hold the phone, one word comes to mind: Satisfaction.

The phone is incredibly thin at just 6.99mm that’s thinner than most pencils! The camera housing is made of metal, and the back finish is inspired by Twill fabric (there is also a denim-like finish available). It feels very grippy and premium in the hand. Despite being a large flagship, it is lightweight.
Motorola Signature Build Quality
Usually, slim phones feel fragile, but not this one. Motorola has used a Metal Frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front for solid protection. It also comes with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and Military Grade 810H certification.
We even did a drop test from 5 feet and 6 feet (higher than head height), and the phone survived without a scratch. It is built like a tank but looks like a beauty.
Motorola Signature Ports & Buttons
The placement of buttons is very ergonomic.

- Right Side: Power button and Volume Rockers. The buttons are tactile and feel “clicky” and premium.
- Left Side: A dedicated Moto AI Key.
- Bottom: SIM Card tray, Microphone, USB Type-C port, and Speaker Grill.
- Top: Noise-canceling mic, another Speaker Grill (for stereo sound), and an Air Vent (for heat dissipation).
Motorola Signature Display
This is where the magic happens. The phone features a massive 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED LTPO display.

The bezels are almost non-existent, giving you a full-screen experience. It supports a flexible refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, but for gaming, it can go up to 165Hz, which is insane for smooth gameplay. With 6200 nits peak brightness, outdoor visibility is no issue at all.
Motorola Signature Specifications
This beast is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (8Z5) chipset. This is a cutting-edge processor with an Antutu score crossing 3 Million!

- RAM: LPDDR5X (up to 16GB).
- Storage: UFS 4.1 (up to 1TB).
- USB: It finally supports USB 3.2 Gen 1, giving you 5Gbps transfer speeds.
Motorola Signature Performance
Performance is buttery smooth. Whether you are playing Call of Duty at 120FPS or Genshin Impact, the phone handles it easily.
What impressed me the most is the thermal management. The phone does get warm (it’s a flagship, after all), but the Copper Mesh and Liquid Metal Cooling system dissipates the heat very quickly. The stability during stress tests was excellent for such a thin phone.

Motorola Signature OS & UI
Motorola offers one of the cleanest software experiences in the market. It runs on Hello UI based on Android 16.
- Updates: You get 7 Years of OS Updates and 7 Years of Security Updates. This is huge!
- Bloatware: Zero. No random ads, no useless apps. Just a clean experience.
- AI Features: It is packed with AI tools like “Catch Me Up,” “Pay Attention,” and “Smart Connect 2.0.” You can even choose your preferred AI assistant (Gemini, Copilot, etc.) using the AI key.
Motorola Signature Sensors
All necessary sensors are present and work perfectly.
- Fingerprint: Ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint sensor (very fast).
- Face Unlock: Works seamlessly.
- Three-in-One Light Sensor: Helps in adjusting screen color and camera white balance accurately.
Motorola Signature Connectivity
This phone is a “Global roamer.”

- 5G Bands: It supports 24 5G Bands, so you will get coverage anywhere in the world.
- Wi-Fi & Bluetooth: Comes with the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
- Others: NFC and Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) support are there.
- Note: Interestingly, there is no eSIM support mentioned, which is a small miss.
Motorola Signature Camera
Motorola has worked hard here, and it shows. The phone is in the Top 10 on DXOMark.

- Main Camera: 50MP Sony LYT-828 Sensor.
- Telephoto: 50MP (3x Optical Zoom, 85mm) – Great for portraits.
- Ultra-Wide: 50MP (122° Field of View).
- Front Camera: 50MP.
Photo Quality: The photos are stunning. The skin tones are validated by Pantone, so portraits look very natural. The low-light performance is great because of the large sensors. You can even create your own “AI Filters” by uploading photos you like, and the camera learns your style.
Video: You can shoot 8K 30FPS on the main camera and 4K 60FPS on ALL cameras (including the front). It also supports Dolby Vision recording.
Final Verdict
At an effective price of ₹54,999*, the Motorola Signature is a steal. You get a premium build, a box full of accessories (including a watch!), top-tier performance, and 7 years of updates. If you are looking for a flagship experience without spending ₹1 Lakh, this is the phone to buy.
